I absolutely do not believe this is pure cinnamon verum. At best it is strongly cut/blended with c. cassia. I use cinnamon daily & generously -- I know the difference. C. cassia, for one thing, is much harsher & always kind of "sticks" in my throat. I buy Frontier as a monthly subscription, but I ran out before my monthly delivery & decided to try this. Big mistake. Frontier's packaging isn't as nice, but it's real cinnamon. I strongly advise you to avoid this product if you want true cinnamon verum.
