I am a disabled veteran and I have been looking for a stair climbing cart to carry a 57 lb bag of dog food to my second floor apartment. Very poorly designed. 1. loading area is very small. It can hold a small box and the box cannot be wider than the platform because anything larger will be in the way of the wheels. 2. The standing wheels are higher than the platform. 3. I am 6'0" tall and the padded handle is to low for me to comfortably maneuver the he trolley dolly. 4. My first use. The plastic feet below the platform fell off. I was so happy when this arrived. I could not wait to use it. I am a 100% service connected disabled vet and thought that this might give me some more freedom to do for myself. My horror story. Like I said this was bought for me to be able to bring a bag of dog food from my car to my apartment on the second floor. I put the Trolley Dolly together. ( Very Simple) That is where the simplicity ended. I had to bring a small trash can to the dumpster and was going to bring my dog food to my apartment on my way back. I placed the trash can on the platform and could not find a comfortable way to bring it down the stairs. Well the trash can fell down the stairs making for a huge mess. But wait it gets better. Trash was all over the place. Took me a half hour to clean the mess. Thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Now for the good part. Bringing a bag of dog food back to my apartment. Well I even came back into the house to watch the "Easy to use video" Well it wasn't that easy for me to use. The bag was too big for the platform. I tried anyway. I got the trolley half way up the steps and the bag of dog food didn't want to stay on the trolley anymore. It jumped off and rolled down the stairs. Opening on its way down and emptied its contents Took me an hour to pick that mess up. I can't use the dog food because it fell all over the leaves that fell from the trees. Not only was my trash spewed all over the place. I lost a $24.00 bag of dog food and I find out that I spent $20.00 more on this unit from Amazon than what it is today. I feel burnt and I am angry. I am tired and too old to fight. I highly suggest that you not purchase this awful Trolley Dolly.
