Beautful but useless
I needed this to drill 3/16 holes in a soft-wood cabinet frame to put in screws to hold a sink top in place. Within a few seconds of use it started to make nasty sounds. I barely finished one screw hole, and alas, it would turn no more. The gears were stripped. In soft wood.
Dewalt, I really REALLY want one of these of tool quality. It's a fantastic design. If you used brass or steel gears to make it actually perform its intended function and charged $50 for it instead of $30, I would buy it and love it. As it is, it isn't worth a cent, and gives me a bad taste in my mouth when I consider buying other products you manufacture. Is that what you want?
