Excellent writing ruined by politics
The author writes beautifully, and I was held in suspense 3/4 of the way through the book . Then he absolutely ruined it because apparently the entire purpose of the book was another tired dissertation on the massive threat to democracy that Trump and his minions, white Supremacists from the South pose. I didn’t even finish the book.
