I've now had 2 of these break in less than a year. On the first one, the sound stopped working on one side. On the second one, the battery suddenly got very warm and the unit wouldn't charge anymore. I was traveling both times, and Bose's options were abysmal for helping me out; I could wait weeks and weeks (hard to do when traveling) and have them receive my old ones and repair them, and ship them back. They wouldn't cross ship or allow me to return at a store, despite being under warranty. TL;DR -- the warranty has had a major downgrade compared to past products.
