I purchased this Severin Germany Vacuum Cleaner because it is small, compact, & said to have good suction. I needed a vacuum of this size because I live in an apartment with not a lot of storage space. BUT here are the HUGE problems, the plastic hose is so incredibly STIFF that when using it the hose is extremely difficult to maneuver, making it awkward to use, & often the vacuum will actually FLIP OVER on to its back & shut itself off! AND since it purchased it due to its small/compact size the plastic hose is so STIFF that it takes up a ton of space in the closet!!!! I am VERY FRUSTRATED with this vacuum!!!! You cannot simply stand up the vacuum with the hose & wand at it's side, the vacuum ends up at one end of the closet & the hose & wand sprawl out to the other taking up a ton of space & making it difficult to get into or put anything else in the closet!!! Forget setting behind a door, or leaving it to rest in the hallway! I ran a professional cleaning business for over 20 years, & I have used a lot of different brands of vacuum cleaners, I have NEVER used a vacuum that had a hose made out of STIFF PLASTIC. The suction is fine, other than that if you are looking for a low profile vacuum that is easy to store this is NOT your answer!
