When I used this it had an intense aroma which burned my throat so I was skeptical about it having no alcohol in it. It also seemed harsher on my skin than the alcohol free brand that I usually use. I called the company to find out and they said that it has 14% alcohol, which they use to distill the witch hazel. I asked why they don't list alcohol on the bottle with the ingredients. Their answer was absurd, they said if it was alcohol free the label would say alcohol free. I said this sounds pretty dishonest and I suggested they put 14% alcohol next to witch hazel under the ingredients. She said she would pass along my suggestion. A lot of the reviews here say how much they love that this product is alcohol free, so I think it is important for people to know it definitely has alcohol!
