When I initially assembled this fire ring I was very pleased with it. It looked nice and was easy to put together. The only negative I found was the overlapping panels had sharp corners which did not mate flushly once put together. Now for the bad. After getting the fire ring put together I excitedly had my first fire. But once the fire was going the galvination started smoking and burning off. So now my fire ring looks terrible as you can see in the pictures and this is after just one fire. But to make matters worse, I started doing a little research and found that when heated, galvination will burn off. And the vapors and residue released are incredibly toxic and dangerous. I am thankful that I was by myself and there was good breeze and that no one was poisoned. But I'm a really surprised that they are allowed to sell this product after learning all of this.
