i ordered this gown as it looked to be very long and a pretty ruby red. The reality does not match the sale. 1. I ordered a large because the size chart compared to a siz 12-14. I've been burnt before with 8-10 being too small. This gown is "Huge"! I used to be a size 22 so I know what I'm talking about. So, remember size L=1X 2. The armholes are so big that they gape open well below my ribs. Picture included. Forgive my loose skin. (If anyone needs a skin donation, I'm your gal! LOL!) Also...the armholes are two different sizes. Photo attached. 3. There are no real hems. They did a simple caston edge that is already looking to unravel. 4. The photo if the item is mis-leading regarding the length. I thought it was floor length or at least lower shin. I'm barely 5'4" and it just barely hit below the knees. 5. The decorative rosettes are badly constructed will probably unravel with a first washing. Hell, the whole damn thing might come apart. 6. The color on the ad shows a lot of very garnet red. In reality, it's a loud, bright red. The fabric does feel nice and soft. It should...it's almost see through. Some would say that you get what you pay for and I'll say that, no, I can find a gown at the local WallyWorld for the about the same price and, at the very least, the thing would be correctly hemmed! It's not worth the return shipping charge so I'll wash it and see what happens and, in all probability, I'll donate it.
