Needs to go back to the drawing board
I purchased this item along with the Potty Putter golf game. Initially I thought these items would help encourage my wired and golf nut wife to take her time moving her bowels and thus move them more completely. (She tends to be prone to rather noxious gaseous eruptions when she is not completely evacuated.) I've suffered for years from her purulent flatulence and thought this could be the answer I've been seeking. I was wrong. First the stand only holds standard rolls of toilet paper and we like the jumbo extra cush thick layered type. I must say being forced to use an inferior paper has not helped my mood or my hemorrhoids. Prior to gifting the items to her I personally tested their operation.
I mounted my iPad and assumed the throne to move my spirit and the first thing I noticed was that there was no built in light. This poses some difficulties as the overhead bathroom light casts a odd glare on my iPad screen making it difficult to see the screen without shifting position. Anyone knows shifting position during this crucial operation can be dangerous. Strike one. What is so hard about including a pop up light? I am really disappointed in the designers. Clearly they don't use the bathroom often.
The second design flaw (or third if you count the too small roll holder) is that the flexible arm is a bit too flexible. You can get it adjusted perfectly and be skyping with your friends (pooping privately you think) when suddenly you realize that the arm has tilted forward a bit giving your friends a birds-eye view of your enthroned unmentionables. This is unacceptable. I couldn't figure out why all my friends tried to get me on skype at exactly 6 pm every evening (I'm regular) until one friend, feeling somewhat guilty, exposed my exposure. Apparently a small shift in downward angle can give your friends much more than they bargained for. Also, please be aware that skyping while using this item could be offensive to some because the designers did not include any way to mute your bathroom activity, thus any explosive emission can and will be heard by all. Thankfully odor is not transmitted via wireless, yet. The product's one saving grace.
The third, and most dangerous of all is the propensity to addiction. Yes, my wife is now odor free and is completely evacuating her bowels on a regular basis--five times a day--to be exact. I rarely see her anymore. She puts and poops, skypes and poops, poops and posts on facebook, she even posted a screen shot of herself using her iPoop and Potty Putter. I am somewhat suspicious as her skype contact list has grown exponentially with people using handles such as "Pernicious Pooper", "LuvsPooh", and "Poop4Me". I fear this product may be the end of what was formerly a happy home.
I would return both these items if I could, but sadly the "once you poop you can't return" policy is firm. So I'm stuck with it. I HATE YOU iPOOP!!!
