This book had so many flash backs that were so abrupt that I finally had to skip them just to be able to follow the story. The characters were well developed and they seemed real, but she abandoned them. I was reading along and suffering for many of the 300+ pages when the the author abruptly ended the book trying to tie up loose ends in 3/4 of a page. I was left frustrated -- is she trying to get me to buy her next book by just stopping it and not giving the characters the follow through ending they deserved. I am glad I got this for free -- I would have hated to have paid for this book.
