The Good- It seemed to catch mosquitoes! The Bad- It stopped working on the SECOND tank of propane with a "thermistor fault". About 30-40 days since running it, outside the Amazon return window. Mosquito Magnet Company- get your hardware problems sorted out! You have a product that works, WHEN IT WILL RUN... which it doesn't seem to do very well. A big "Sheesh!" for this thing failing so quickly. (And I was not abusing it. I found a nice shady spot, followed instructions, performed maintenance at the tank change, etc.) Update 1- The phone support line had me on hold for a long time and I hung up. They have a recorded "we appreciate you patience, thank you for holding" that seems to run every 10 seconds. If you're going to be on hold for over a half an hour, it would be nice to not hear that constantly. One of the voice recordings has machinery noises at the start in the background that gets your hopes up like it's a real person about to talk, and then dashes them. Going to try email. We'll see how it goes. Also, I had plenty of time to read their literature while on hold. Their warranty is limited warranty for one year from purchase date if you register your product with them. I'd recommend you read it before purchase like I didn't (I assumed they were well made... woops.) You can read it on their site, it's actually pretty short and to the point. Update 2- Email submission response: "Thank you for your inquiry. We will respond within 2 business days. " From their support site: If there is a Thermistor Fault, please call technical support at 800-953-5737 or email us for repair instructions. Instead of returning to the store and still having the mosquitoes ruining your outdoor plans, we will send you pre-paid UPS Shipping labels and will have the trap back to you in less than 1 week! We'll fix it fast and accurate so you can take care of those mosquitoes! I'd like to point out that Amazon would probably have this sorted out via replacement in a much shorter period of time (as short as a day) if you are in the return window. It's almost a public health issue to tell anyone to use a slower method of maintaining mosquito control. Update 3- I got a reply to my email ONE MONTH later. A much faster response was a damage control comment here on the site from their PR staff. I'm lowering my score to 1 star. I suggest the Blue Rhino SV3100 SkeeterVac Mosquito Eliminator, 1-Acre Coverage at this point. It has survived much longer. (Secret trick-)You can stick a mosquito magnet lurex cartridge in the catch basket and you'll get similar results as the mosquito magnet. Dear Mosquito Magnet Company- It's unfortunate that you can't take a working concept and make it a working product that lasts longer than a month before failing permanently. I'm not buying again from you till I see signs you've got your act together. Crappy hardware and support gives you 1 star in my book. Good day. I don't recommend anyone do business with you.
