So I've had this lock for over 3 years and have had intermittent issues with it's responsiveness in terms of connecting to my iphone. sometimes it doesn't connect at all and i have to open the Kevo app to connect with the lock, then unlock it. When it works, it take a while; i could have just used the key several times while the lock was connecting. But last night was the worst! I was asleep and someone was able to get into my house because the latch opened when they touched the deadbolt. I was inside as well as my phone. so not sure what allowed it to unlatch. I could clearly see it happen in the security camera video. Luckily my cameras alerted me beforehand and i was able to call the police; they arrived as he was entering my house. Good timing! He was arrested and carted off. Today i replaced the lock with a push-button code type. i probably won't be using a bluetooth or wireless lock for a while. The incident totally creeped me out.
