I bought these pants in four colors/patterns. Each material was different. One was heavy tweed-like, good for fall (spotted gray). Two were thick cotton-like (the two striped argyle). And the gray was a polyester-like material that makes sounds as you move around. The waist bands are comfortable and a lil bit looser than typical sizing. The hips, butt, and thighs of these pants are definitely cut for a pear shaped girl. Very awkwardly loose. I will take the sides in a bit with my sewing machine and they should fit fine. Pockets functional. If you're an apple shape, unless you know how to sew or don't mind spending money on tailoring, you might want to pass on these pants. Update. Returned. Will stretch out and sag in your seat and crotch within an hour of wear.
