Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

So, of course, I wanted to prove everyone wrong and I decided to do a test run of this game. My boyfriend and I were sitting in his living room after reading a bunch of reviews on this new app and decided that we were going to try it for ourselves! But, not wanting it to take our pictures, we decided to put a piece of card board over both of the rear facing and front facing camera. We then downloaded the app! Once done it asked if we would like to put it on child mode or adult mode. We just went ahead and put it on adult mode. That's where it went down hill. We'd seen so may reviews that told you, 'You see someone in the eyes...!' Well, we didn't see someone but we saw someTHING. We saw a room filled with pictures and what looked to be a camera. It was so weird! So next we just messed around with the app, it asked us for our name so we just provided a fake one. But then it kept asking us about our personal lives and telling us how old it was and wondering how old we were. Not only that but for some reason while we were using the app, it turned on the flash and kept it on like a flash light and kept telling us how 'Cats preferred the dark' we were very confused! It shouldn't have that much control over a phone. That is just ridiculous. Plus, it would ask you multiple times to "pet it" and once you did it made moaning noises and giggled. It would then say how "good we were at that ;-)" Why should a children's app use a winky face? That seems...inappropriate. Then when you would poke her it would tell you that you were poking her in her "no-no square" or that she "hoped practice really did make perfect ;-)" Definitely not something I would suggest for children. Not even on child mode. I refuse to let my niece even look at the app. I'm not saying you should uninstall it from your phone, but if I were you, I would definitely not let my children play with this. It is not appropriate.
