At first, I loved this camera. You can control it just like a film rangefinder. Having physical wheels to change aperture, shutter speed and bracketing are amazing. The quality of the images is superb because it has very good optics (Leica lens) BUT, yes there is a big but... The design of this camera has a flaw.The retractable lens pushes the dust inside the camera right through the sensor. I am very careful with my gear, I had the original Panasonic leather case for this camera that I used every time I was not shooting, and after one year I started to see the dust in the sensor. Usually, you just realize about the problem when shooting bright scenes at f16. Besides, to send the camera to service is very expensive (half the price of the camera) and it takes a lot of time(weeks). The big issue is that to clean the sensor; you need to open and disassemble the whole camera. Most of the people probably are not going to realize about the problem using auto mode because the camera tends to use a wider aperture to let more light in. If you like to have the control and use small apertures to get more sharp images, you are going to spend a lot of time in post-processing to get rid of the problem. I added a few examples. The first two where taken before I notice the problem, the last one shows very clear all the dust inside the camera on the sensor.
