I just unpackaged this bed, which was great to watch. I instantly noticed a palm oil/coconut oil type of smell. The smell was not heavy, and would likely disappear after a few days, but there is certainly a very light sweet chemical smell. One thing that immediately got my attention was a dead bug and little pieces of what looked like bug bits on the side of the bed. There was a oily looking stain around the bug. I looked up "bedbugs", and what I saw sure as heck looked like what was on this mattress. I took a few pics (to show amazon) and quickly wrapped the bed up in plastic and sealed it with sheathing tape. I will certainly be returning this bed to amazon. If amazon refuses to return the bed(now that the mattress has expanded into its full shape), I will update this review. If not for the bug and bits of stuff on the mattress, it looks like it might have been a nice product. But, as it came to me, I do not feel good about using it and finding out if it is comfortable, etc.
