Episode 5...REALLY?? Teach us celebrities teach us....
So I do love the show over all and have watched it for many years. There has always been that left lean in it; and that is okay. But it has become so pathetic and cynical. Episode 5 not only pushed the homosexual lifestyle unnecessarily;but, also made one of my favorite characters gay just to 'teach us' deplorables. No legitimate plot point or character development. All just as a liberal teaching tool and that is a darn shame. Most people are fine with giving everyone the freedom to pursue the life they choose as long as it does not affect the rest of us or our rights. Just as they would not want those of us of faith to not push our ways on them, 'shockingly' we feel the same! Continuously promoting and antagonizing people of faith by shoving lifestyles of the cultural 1% is not okay. I have no problem with letting people live their own lives, but, we ask the same. Most people do not agree with that way but we all support their right to do it. It is just so frustrating because all day long we hear about politics and name-calling. We go to movies and television as an escape from reality. Not for more politicization and being preached to. The cultural 1% control 99% of media is a problem and they must really despise their audience and think we are such barbarians that they must 'educate' us. It is truly a shame and ruins what has been a great show. Bringing back Watts just to make him gay though is such terrible plot device as it is so transparently political ideology. This is not an accurate representation of Edwardian settings, character and literature. I am begging the stars, writer and producers of this show: PLEASE! STOP! Right this ship. The cast is great and they, and we, deserve better. Let us save the politicking for the election box. We get it. you guys are all liberal. Most if us are not and that is okay. People are allowed to disagree with you without being labeled something out of the identity politics playbook. Save Murdoch Mysteries...please...
