I don't know how this got such high stars. I barely touched this mattress topper to put it on my mattress and the next day woke up with red patches all over my legs. I tried to wrap the mattress to return it and even from barely touching it my hands had a reaction. My skin is usually not sensitive that's why this is so shocking. I have also read other reports on this LUCID brand online and people have complained about the same thing. This does not seem safe at all and I'm scared that I slept on it one night as I've read that it's dangerous to breathe in the particles too. I did wake up with a sore throat but it might be unrelated. I can't even pack up the mattress because it's so puffy and because my skin will have another reaction, so I might not even be refunded, but I thought the least I could do is warn people so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Hoping my mattress doesn't have too much of the residue on it... washed my fitted sheet and just hoping for the best. *UPDATE* I was able to be refunded because luckily the UPS carrier was kind enough to help me pack it and had a bag that was large enough to put it in. However, my rash has gotten worse. I have attached a picture of what has happened. This is day 3 or 4 of having a rash and it has spread to other areas of my body. I have been prescribed steroids and hoping this goes away soon. What a nightmare. I just want to warn people and save people from having this happen to them, so at least something good can come out of this.
