Initially, I really liked this bag. It was a great travel bag - fit underneath airplane seats well with some foot space to spare, has functional trolley strap & sat nicely on top of luggage, able to fit a laptop and a notebook inside. However, only after 2 months of purchase, I noticed the metal rod that keeps the top shape has pierced through the side of the polyester fabric (next to zipper). It has an unfinished sharp edge so it is no wonder that it was able to eventually poke out. I suggest for the manufacturer to add plastic caps to the ends of the rod to avoid this in the future. After spending $40, I will need to purchase a new backpack only after 2 months. Not worth the money.
