This is a beautiful modern fountain. It looks like stone but is so light. It was easy to put together, even for a female senior citizen like myself. The directions were somewhat vague but with so few parts, it wasn't difficult to figure it out. It was easy to fill and I had my new fountain working within an hour of receiving. I selected this particular fountain for two reasons: 1. I wanted a modern look and this fits that requirement and 2. I wanted a fountain that I would be able to hear from inside my home. This fountain has just enough noise. I have it in an atrium and I can hear this fountain from every room that surrounds the atrium. Very happy with it. UPDATE: Within a week, fountain quit working. It was working when I went to bed and dead by morning. Both the pump and lights quit so it's a power issue of some sort (it's not the outlet). Very disappointing that I'm going to have to go through the hassle of draining, boxing and returning it. I'm single and a senior female so I'm not looking forward to it. .
