The only thing I can think is that their roaster quit and they hired a 7 year old pyromaniac! This stuff is burnt and nasty! I should have paid more attention to the recent reviews instead of the preponderance of great reviews. The seller sent me a fresh batch and took back the old batch for "analysis". I ground some in hopes that it was just a bad batch. No such luck. Yeah, I don't know who's buying this stuff and saying YAY RAH, but blech! First batch tasted like someone took Sanka and mixed it 50/50 with potting soil. That couldn't have been the case because I ground the beans myself. Second batch less dirty and more like kissing a girl who smokes if you know what I mean. Stale ashtray... Definitely not the coffee for me. Gonna take it to some friends who are notorious for their palates and see if they agree... If you like it, hey, good for you!
