I got this to replace the torch I purchased from a well known bed and bath supply shop. Right out the box I knew I made a great purchase. The styling, angled torch and easy push button lock is a great design feature. Makes one handed ingnite and locking a breeze. I like the huge turn dial at the back of the torch to turn flames from small to large. Nice wide, screwed on base to make it easy to quickly place down while working and stays standing up to quickly pick up. Feels great in the hand, doesn't feel cheap. Love the shade of red, stands out on my counter while working. Why only 2 stars? Although all the things I listed above would make this a 5 star item for me BUT just yesterday it finally stopped working just 1 day shy of 2months of owning and using this torch I would say just about every other day it finally broke. It will now only light using a lighter which defeats the whole purpose of using this torch. Although I do love it I wish it lasted me longer. I was almost about to buy a 2nd for back up but seeing as it didn't last me too long I doubt I will reinvest into the same torch. The one I purchased from the well known shop I was able to use for atleast a year before having the same issue. TL;DR fantastic torch, great style, easy to use. died after 2 months, now need a lighter to use. the crappy one I bought from the big box store lasted much longer.
