I have been using these razors for 15 years and have been buying them on Amazon since 2009. The manufacturer changed the design recently and the new design is horrible—it is now impossible to get a close shave. The obvious visual differences between the old and new cartridges are that the metal band on the new cartridges does not wrap around the entire height of the cartridge, and the new cartridge has three strips of plastic on the back instead of one (which also makes it clog more easily). Edit: I received a second order of cartridges with the same bad shave quality, so I’ve reduced this review from two stars to one star. These new blades are awful, giving the same result as an old Dorco/Dollar Shave Club blade. I am looking to other manufacturers now to try to find something that works anywhere close to the old Mach3 design.
