I wish I had read about this company before I purchased the pitcher. It was fine when I bought it. No problems, good tasting water. The filter lasted a long time, but eventually it was time to replace it. So, come to find out, the filter cost as much as a new pitcher. I liked the taste I had been getting, so I buy the bullet and bought replacement filters. Now my water tastes fishy. I googled it and found out this is a common problem. Their website is no help. The FAQ days that fishy water means the filter has been exhausted and needs replacing. Really, Zero Water? The filter I literally just bought and am just drinking from for the first time is exhausted? Really? Get out of here. And then, their return policy is ridiculous. You buy a defective product from them and you have to pay the shipping to send it back. But before they refund your purchase price minus shipping costs, they test the filter in their lab. If they decide there's nothing wrong with the filter, despite the fishy taste in your first glass of water, they send the filter back to you at your cost. Avoid this company at all costs.
