This waffle maker was delivered to my apt home May 5 ! I removed it and all item included in shipping box and sat on my kitchen counter! I left to go to my garage to get my notepad! Only about 5 minutes gone I heard fire trucks coming into the apartments ! I asked the guy who was coming down the stairs what happened and he said there was a fire on second floor looking over the pool which was my apartment! I ran to open the door and the waffle make was on fire ! There was nothing heated around to initiate the fire! This item has damaged my entire apartment I just moved in ! It’s clear as day pictured where it was started! The fire chief & firemen agreed as well!
