I've been taking TUDCA for years and it has a specific texture and very bitter taste. The powder in these capsules is tasteless and has the texture of starch. Edit: I ran some tests on this suspiciously tasteless TUDCA and it is starch indeed. Anyone can do the starch test. All you need is a drop of iodine tincture, which you dissolve in a glass of water. The result should be a pale yellow solution. Now place a drop of this pale yellow solution on the powder from the capsule, and, if it is real TUDCA, the color should remain pale yellow. But in the presence of starch it will turn dark purple (google iodine test for starch if you need more info). Take a look at the picture. On the right is real TUDCA with the familiar bitter taste (from a reputable source). Note that the color remained pale yellow. On the left is this "highest quality TUDCA". As you can see by the change in color, it's pure starch. I believe it's rice flour. Considering that they claim there is no fillers in their product, there is no doubt that THIS IS A SCAM. The reason they have high ratings is because the bottle comes with an insert which promises 90% discount off your next purchase, if you leave a positive review within a week. I reported them to amazon back in May, but, apparently, they did nothing to this seller. They did refund me my $ though, but what a headache! And yet, look at their ratings. This is scary! The experience left me paranoid. I doubt I'll buy again from any of these small amazon sellers unless I am already very familiar with the product. Reporting this scam to amazon had no effect and positive reviews mean nothing. Buyer beware!
