Hope that there are no problems
Because if there are, and they don't fit into the predetermined buckets, you are in trouble. I bought this machine to use in my business. When I got it I moved files over as one would normally do. Then the problem arose. A fault in the boot records, a missing sector or something. This was 2 days in. Ordinarily you'd just return it, right? Ummm not if your personal stuff is on it and you can't get to the files to erase them. I guess I could have dropped the hard disk and plugged it into another machine. Frankly, it seemed like too much work. I ended up re-installing Windows and all was well. For now. That was after a couple of hours trying to "fix" the fault. My point is that I contacted the seller asking about the best way forward. No response a week later. Nada. I emailed Amazon customer service (finding an email is a challenge) Nada there too. If you do not fit into a predefined pigeonhole you are s___out of luck. This argues for buying local. Which probably isn't that bad an idea generally. That said recognize that this machine was a real buy (assuming it keeps working). My criticism is leveled against Amazon and the vendor. Fast forward. I reinstalled Win10 and the machine worked fine up until a week ago. No it will give me the Blue Screen of Death and reboot. Happens every hour or so. Naturally, it is far too late to return it. Amazon is worthless on this. Bottom line is buy new. I effectively rented a machine (with problems) for four months. The thing that is really troublesome is that neither Amazon nor The vendor stepped up to the plate.
