This was a great printer with very low use for about 1 years and then the evil printer devil rose from it's all knowing and all destructive corporate cave to take over my machine. I am only on my 3rd toner cartridge and now every time I go to print I get an error message saying the cover is open. IT IS NOT OPEN! I have to open and close the closed cover so often and remove the toner cartridge and put it back in so much that I am unable to just F'in print something without spending 15" and practically going insane. ARGH! Although I am not a violent person, I am planning on making a video for Youtube of me smashing this PoS printer to bits so I can get some artistic satisfaction from my purchase. I am disgusted by every brand of printer that I have tried. In my 25 plus years of experience with them, they all become obsolete in terms of proper functioning in one year. This kind of thing is on reason why we have so much plastic garbage. Let's organize a People Against Printer Companies March on Washington in 2020! Of course we will have to print flyers and who the heck wants to go through that kind of self torture.
