I ordered this because it was advertised as stainless steel. I do not want to dehydrate my food inside of plastic...even bpa free plastic, no thankyou. But the unit arrived and I noticed plastic feet, plastic handles on the side of the unit, and plastic on the inside of the door. I called and talked to Cossori customer service who was very friendly and very helpful. The gentleman told me the inside of the door is made of very safe ABS plastic. My husband does 3D printing and I assure you ABS plastic is the most dangerous filiment to be heating and inside of a dehydrator with your food. You think your ordering a food safe unit to make healthy snacks but your not bc of the ABS plastic your heating up with your snacks. If your not health conscious you may not mind but for those of us trying to live a more holistic lifestyle keep looking for a unit that is fully stainless steel, door included.
