Written in the first person
I don't care for books with a narrative written in the first person. It's a personal preference, but I think that potential readers should be warned in advance. The first person narrative should be reserved for autobiographies and similar types of books. The narrative in this book shifts back and forth between first and third person with such frequency it's uncomfortable and a bit confusing - particularly because the reader doesn't even know who the "I" is at the start .
Not my cup of tea.
