I purchased this humidifier because of the growing number of positive reviews. When I fist set it up the unit worked perfectly. But after a few hours and about 1/2 gallon of distilled water vaporized, it stopped producing mist and I could not make it mist no matter what. Now I understand that sometimes there is bad luck and a defective product, but the Hupro brochure with the product said there was 24/7 telephone support. So I called and a person took my contact details and Amazon order # and said a technician would call back. 24 hours later, nothing. So I tried email to their support address. 24 hours later, nothing. That is unacceptable, so I returned the unit. Based on my personal experience I advise buyer beware.
