This is the first time I ever rated a product one star so you know I'm not pleased. The description says you can put it in the dishwasher to clean. First time I had no problems. However, the second time it got water inside the roller. I tried shaking it, rolling it, standing on each end and I could not get the water out. Today, I used it to roll dough and ended up with wet hand. I don't want to have old stale water over my dough. Not sure if I'll return or put it in the trash since I don't have time to run it over to drop off to ship back.
