I have had the bread box several months and initially was very pleased with it BUT I just cut the back of my hand rather significantly on an uncrimped edge so I thought I'd better report it so you won't injure yourself. The problem is the forward edge of the lid, under the handle.I reached in to get a slice of bread and sliced myself instead. I like the box too much to toss it so my husband used a piece of drip irrigation tubing which he slit and slid on the entire sharp edge. Now there is no danger of injury and the tubing is unnoticeable.
