This is a great idea that is cheaply executed. I wanted to use this for oil changes on my vehicle, so leaks in the storage container were a concern. I read many reviews of the 16 quart Flo Tool and noticed consistent complaints of leaks. I ordered it nonetheless hoping that it would not happen to me. However, I filled it up with water after unpacking it to see if there were leaks. There a re two sources of leakage on this container. First leakage point is in the main oil drainage hole. Since the thread is made of soft plastic with no rubber o ring the water leaked out in a steady stream (see photos). The second point of failure is in the air valve which is also not leak proof and hard to keep closed even without any fluid pressure inside the container, (see photos). Now, my particular Flow Tool does not leak anywhere in the body of the container, that is, there are no micro punctures of sufficient size to leak water. I have several problems with the marketing and sale of this item. First, it is marketed as "made in America" which I associate with quality. This is not a quality item. Second, it claims to "hold" 16 quarts of fluid. Given this design I do not think it could hold 16 quarts of fluid without leaking. However, it can hold fluid as long as you do not fill it up pass the main drainage hole. But then its not really a 16 quart container, since you cannot effectively use the last third of capacity because it will leak old oil and contaminants. Third, it claims to be "leak proof" which is not true. Fourth, the priced it just right so I and many others would be tempted to buy it. I will not give the company a free pass on their false advertising because they priced their product competitively. Please charge me 1 dollar more and redesign the plug holes with better materials. I will pay for quality, especially if it means keeping jobs in America.
