As Expected
I am a music teacher, and most of my young students love the Disney music. Unfortunately, regardless of the label "easy", Disney seems to always insist on keying their songs with flats and sharps, syncopated rhythm, and too-often mid-song key changes. I've used the Disney books for students of piano, as well as violin, and the same issues apply. What is so difficult about making a piano book with songs in the key of C, or maybe even occasionally G or F....? Would it be asking too much to simplify that syncopation so that measures could be easily read by beginners?? Must a violin book include flatted keys?? Sure, we all love the originals-- jazzy rhythm, full orchestration..... but please give the wee ones a fighting chance at success in their early training.
