I was seduced by the charming testimonial about material and craftsmanship. HOWEVER someone at this handbag pop-up needs to learn how to design a purse. In a nutshell, the teensy little grommets on the straps do all the heavy lifting, and after less than a month of use, the straps failed on the buckle side at the grommet. To repair or not? I think not, for several other frustrating reasons. The interior pocket is too shallow for practical use, and the little exterior pocket is too small for anything (well, I had been using it for my parking pass card). Plus the weird way the shell and liner were grommeted together created a frustrating condition of ersatz exterior pockets-not. Even more weirdness, the leather is clearly belt leather, not the type of hide typically used for fashion bags and totes. The hardware finish is reminiscent of a 2008ish finish used on for-retail designer bags, so repair/replace options on the failed straps is slim to none. Hopes were high and the color is delightfully neutral. Sadly, huge waste of money (returns accepted only if new and unused). Shame, shame, shame!
