Quite simply - this doesn't work as advertised. It simply doesn't work unless your mount is new. If there is the slightest difference between your install and the rubber mount, it won't fit and there is now way to correct the problem. A veteran plumber I spoke with mentioned these are returned to Home Depot and he gets call to replace them all the time because they leak. Nice concept - but not recommended.
