Ridiculous. It won't let you connect via bluetooth unless you download the app, you can't download the app without putting in a credit card (REALLY!!), then after all that (and putting in my apple ID 3 times), what does this amazing app do? It connects the speaker to my iphone. So, I'm giving my data and my financial information for no added value. Any of my other bluetooth devices don't require a special app or access to my money. If I had read this, I would not have bought it. Even if it performs well, this is such low-brow behavior, I would not have bought it. SO, it could be the best ever device, but I'll never buy another Bose product.
