We are a Computer sales and repair store. We have been selling refurbished computers for 5 years now. We started selling refurbished computers with only SSD drives in them about 2 years ago. We found and started to use Silicon Power drives a little over a year ago. I have ordered 94 of these drives. Over the last 3 months we have had 12 computers come back in with dead SSDs. That is a shocking amount of bad drives. Do not buy these drives. Spent a little extra and get a better brand. We did not claim the warranty because these drives are so bad it would just create more work for us if we replaced the bad ones with the same drive. We replaced all the dead drives with the Samsung EVO SSDs and just took the loss on the silicon power drives.
