I am now finally able to use this product to see the effectiveness with my cold sores. I started using it as the company and other users suggested right away, as soon as I felt the cold sore coming. My main issue is cross contamination by infecting the roll on lemon balm while the infection is most contagious. Just like you have to replace your toothbrush after you have an active cold sore. Well sure enough for the first time i get a cold sore and by using this product it was spread over to my other side of the lip where i get my cold sores so now I have 2 cold sores. The positive though it is this products prevents it from cracking and bleeding. But my main concern again is cross contamination from using it while your virus is active then consequently infecting the entire product. It doesn't say it kills the virus. Im torn.....
