Heads up! Not Actually lions Mane
I've been trying this product for almost a month now and I thought it was the real deal, but I felt little to no effects. There is a high probability that this isn't even actual lions mane. After doing extensive research, I learned that a lot of companies actually use mycelium (the roots), rather than the fruiting body (the actual mushroom). This is bad because mycelium is grown on oats, so when they crush it into powder, they don't separate the two. This means that many of the mushroom products out there are 90% grains and starch, rather than the actual mushroom that they advertise. If you take a look at their packaging, they show no information on how they got or extracted the mushroom, which only brings in suspicion.
If you want an actual fruiting body mushroom product, you have to find brands that specifically specialize in mushrooms. I found that Real Mushrooms or Nootropic Depot specialize in that department. I believe KOS specializes in plant/vegan protein, so mushroom is not their expertise and what they heavily invest in. I was a sucker for their pretty packaging but ultimately I am going to return it. Hope this helps and do your research before investing in supplements.
