I love the idea of a portable burner that doesn't need gas and can heat more efficiently than an electric resistance burner. I don't know if it is just an anomaly with our particular burner but the burner we have does not work reliably. Many times during cooking it turns off and we need to re-start it. It is such a nuisance that we have given up trying to use it.
