Firstly, like every other case manufacturer on Amazon, Mosiso is claiming that this case is a universal fit for 2018-19 and 2020 models of MacBook Air. That is misleading. The 2020 MacBook Air is 0.5mm thicker on the bottom. That minuscule difference is causing the bottom shell to not be able to snap into place on both sides. It will stay on with friction and protect. But really case manufacturers, either make an actual case that fits this model or stop claiming that yours does without including an asterisk. More to my experience. I bought the clear cover hoping to show off my beautiful, new acquisition. And to be fair, it certainly lets the MacBook's beauty shine through...at first. The case itself is glossy, making it a smudge magnet. Worse I think this particular glossy material, by its nature, is too fragile. Nobody is going to make $15 case out of polycarbonate, but this stuff just doesn't hold up. Within two weeks, stress cracks developed on the corners and the retaining tabs began to splinter off. Removing it was also a chore because its so inflexible, I was worried about bending the screen. I think its just the glossy colors though. I ordered a replacement frosted version, albeit from a different brand, that seems to be otherwise identical to this one, but because it's not high gloss, it feels softer and more flexible. So overall, avoid the clear cover and know what to expect if you have a 2020 MacBook Air. I'm returning my cracked and chipped one.
