I typically will not write a review unless I have something specific to convey that's not covered by the other reviews. This product is a great idea and solves the problem of aim at three in the morning. I personally like the color blue and have set my device to that color. The first device I received as a Christmas gift and lasted about a week. I thought the batteries died so I replaced the battery but found the problem was my color blue was gone: the only color it would generate was red. So I thought maybe I just got a defective unit and ordered another one which provided a nice blue toilet bowl for about two months then went dark. As I cycle the colors I noticed I have a bright red and dim green, but no blue. Apparently the device must use three diodes for RGB to generate all colors. What appears to happen is the blue diode goes bad first, followed by failure of the green diode, leaving you with red. Now I don't know about you but the last thing I want to see in a toilet bowl at three in the morning is red. Hence my title: "Hope you like red" because that's what you'll get after a month or two of using this device. Great idea, short lifetime. Maybe it would be worth it if I buy the Amazon warranty who knows?
