All 6 batteries were almost dead. How was this ascertained? The instrument I installed the batteries in LED displayed "warning critical low battery" for all 6 of the batteries. This was baffling, I then installed each one of the batteries in my range finder and received the same "low battery" warning. I then ran down to the local store and purchased a new 2 pack. After installing the local store bough batteries the instrument LED registered 100%. No problems with the 2 new local store purchased batteries. Note, the 6 batteries were not packaged in a FACTORY PACKAGE. The 6 batteries arrived in an after market wrapping/package. I my opinion, the odds of someone sending 6 "new" batteries and all 6 just happen to be all most dead is trouble some. Looks and feels almost like a dishonest transaction.
