LATEST UPDATE: After receiving the replacement, I used it for all of 4-5 weeks before it cracked in the exact same position. When I contacted the company, they explained that it was happening in about 1% of units sold from that batch. However, the number of people that seem to have the same issue would indicate otherwise. They explained that they could send a new one, but that it would be coming from the same batch. I’d love to be able to make iced coffee on the spot, but this isn’t the product I’d hoped it would be. UPDATE: After I scheduled a return, the company actually reached out to me to refund my account before Amazon did. They explained that there was a small percentage of HyperChillers that came from the factory with issues. They had a new one sent and it's been working wonderfully! FANTASTIC customer service and an AWESOME product!! UPDATE: I’ve had the HyperChiller for 9 days and it busted in the freezer! I’m hoping that the next one doesn’t do it, as I’ve started the return on this one and have purchased a new one. Between the simplicity of the product and how effective it is, it’s worth every penny! It cools our coffee down to a perfect temperature to pour over ice and NEVER melts the ice! It’s easy to assemble, easy to clean, and a breeze to use! Love it!!
