I wanted a scale that could withstand the occasional manipulation of rambunctious toddlers, as my last one was shattered. This one looked like it would meet the requirements. When I first unboxed it, I was immediately impressed by its overall design. As I went to calibrate, I was thinking, “gee, these numbers sure look small...” But when I went to step on the scale, I was dismayed by the fact I couldn’t discern precisely where the pointer was sitting. I have recently passed an eye exam with flying colors, so I know it doesn’t come down to my subjective vision. One cannot get a precise result when using this scale as the pointer and the numbers are simply too far away to be read. Perhaps I’m spoiled because all my scales up to this point have been electronic, and the result is super clear to the tenths place. But, I’m going back to electronic after this.
