Piece of crap - sent it back
I ordered the T-333 to test new CR123 lithium 3-volt batteries. My ancient Radio Shack Micronta (non-electronic) tester cannot do lithiums, but it is extremely reliable with testing alkaline batteries. The Micronta has let me know when alkaline batteries I ordered online were DOA, and I wanted the same capability with lithium batteries. You never really know what you're getting.
When the T-333 arrived, I managed to surgically extract it from its deadly plastic pod--all fingers intact. Then I gathered up a variety of new, used, and spent batteries to test using the T-333 and Micronta testers. Regardless of whether the lithiums were new or drained (after recording videos for 8 months in my security camera), the T-333 registered all the way to the top of "GOOD." Actually, the drained lithiums measured one teeny-tiny line unit lower-than the new, but still at the top of GOOD. And all the alkalines also tested at the top of GOOD on the T-333, after testing at different levels on the Micronta. Sometimes the less complex the gadget, the better. RIP, Radio Shack.
What a joke and waste of my time, and now I have to go through the returns process. At least I can return this POS.
