About 1/3 good and 2/3's tedious
The end is good/interesting but getting there t a k e s t I m e. Lots of it was boring. Found the main character and her hero husband (and most of the other cops) shallow but some of the other characters (Miras) endearing. Found the overuse of "side piece" demeaning and disturbing. Likewise the p-nis conversations seemed there for shock value. More of a repetitive soap opera for 2/3's of the book.
